Over the years I travelled quite a bit of India. I gotta say, no indian place in germany came even close to the quality of this restaurant. Everything is truly as I remember it from the streets of Varanasi and Mumbai. Everything is fresh, thats why it takes a while sometimes, but the wait is absolutly worth it. Dont expect an average Indian restaurant as there are many in Germany. If you like to try true indian cuisine, this is a must go!
Very good food, friendly staff
Very tasty food of the higher price culture ? very friendly staff
We were greeted in a friendly manner and were pleasantly surprised ... Super large portions and really tasty ... The chef knows his trade. It was just a shame that there was no Indian beer that we would have been looking forward to if we were already in an Indian restaurant and the cola was almost non-carbonated, otherwise ... Thank you for a nice evening :-)
Very tasty and the staff very friendly, cozy atmosphere.
One of the best Indians. Well traveled and tested, after several visits to India the experience is that this is one of the most authentic Indians. We ourselves come from Munich and are always looking forward to a visit to the Taj Mahal. Individual Indian food is served in a friendly and hard-working manner. Reliably delicious again and again.
Real Indian food, nice boss and service, regular buffet (recommended).
Always happy to go back there, because the staff was super nice and friendly. Eating is mega! Please keep it up !!
Very friendly staff and super delicious food - what more could you ask for
Great restaurant, nice service. A successful evening ?
Very good Indian restaurant. Always rich food and the prices are reasonable. If you want to have a good meal, it takes time to prepare it. In return you get a meal that has a unique taste.
The Taj Mahal is open and offers its dishes for pick up. The usual opening times are valid. Since the map is unfortunately difficult to find, you can now find it in the pictures of the Taj Mahal. The dishes are very generously portioned so that a normal eater can easily get enough of it twice. The food is delicious. In any case, it is advisable to choose at least medium-sharp, since Mild lacks the last bit. The staff is super friendly. Gladly again!
Very tasty, always freshly prepared and the taste breathtaking! You are welcomed here as if you are part of the family and we enjoy this great atmosphere very much. We love to come and look forward to next year with you.
Food was very good. Too long wait and menu badly messed up. Nevertheless, gladly again. Is recommended. Many vegetarian dishes, even the taste great.
Friendly service, restaurant was very well visited, but not too loud. Very well spiced food. You can choose between mild, medium and sharp +
We did not like it except for my food service was rare there ö had ordered more to drink ? woman's food was not their goulash our tastes better ? is so!
The food and the service was great. The decor is not so nice, already getting old. We will be back.
Very disappointing. Since I can remember, I hear how good this restaurant should be. We had something to celebrate and we decided to give it a try. The ambiance left a lot to be desired, the very friendly service was all alone and with appropriate criticism of the food she stood between the chairs. The food tastes like prepared with sauce base, the in the reviews advertised fresh kitchen I could not find. I enjoy Indian food, but we will not go to this restaurant again.
Takes more than an Hour to get your food.. had nothing with the Indian food to do..service is not what expected...if it stays as it is, it should close soon.
Positive: The food is really good, the food is fresh and are really delicious, the service is friendly and accommodating. Negatives: The atmosphere looks a bit older. The garbage cans are pretty close to the toilets, which partly gives a musty smell. (In the basement, where the toilets are)
We were there last night. Total hyped. The service very friendly and everything explained. Food very tasty and spicy! We will be back.
The best Indian restaurant in the north I know. In recent years I have visited various Indian restaurants in the north (Lüneburg, Hannover, Hamburg, Celle, Kühlungsborn). Almost always I was very happy but nobody came to the Taj Mahal in Langen. As the owner cooks and cooks freshly, the food, apart from the appetizers, of course not in 20 minutes on the table. That may be, if you visited the restaurant for the first time, a bit to get used to. But even with "The Kitchen Battle" on TV, the candidates for a serving alone need 30 minutes and apart from that you get in the Taj Mahal various dishes that are guaranteed to taste. As far as the sharpness is concerned, you do not have to worry. The dishes can be ordered as a mild variant or with medium, light, spicy or Indian pungency. For starters I recommend Chita Chingri (marinated shrimp in tomato sauce). Simply delicious and fits very well in the north. In addition, the Vegetable Samosa (crispy baked pastry pasties with vegetarian filling). Thus, the waiting time can be well bridged and with an Indian beer, it is no problem. At the main courses you can basically make no mistakes. No matter if fish, meat or vegetarian everything tastes good, because I have tried almost all dishes over the last 16 years. The dishes can also be ordered outside the home, thus eliminating the waiting time. The delicious dishes taste very warm when reheated and therefore I like to take something with me on the way back to Hamburg. Have fun while visiting the Tay Mahal
